If you have some time in IAD visit the National Air and Space Museum in Dulles. We got a ride from the FBO to the terminal and caught the shuttle that will take you to the museum. It is FREE to get in, they only charge for parking if you drive.

The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center is really is a good museum and all pilots will really enjoy it. Plus it is a good way to occupy 3-4 hours of a long day trip. There is a McDonalds inside the museum for lunch.
